19 września 2015 w parku przy Al. Jana Pawła II w Żarach odbył się II Turniej o Puchar Starosty Tripletów w Petanque. Organizatorem turnieju było Łużyckie Towarzystwo Miłośników Petanque "Les Absorbeurs". Puchary dla najlepszych wręczyła wicestarosta Małgorzata Issel.
